Case

ADP A/S operates and develops some of Denmark’s most important logistics hubs, including Fredericia Port, Nyborg Port, and Taulov Dry Port. These are complex environments with high activity levels, significant assets in motion, and a constant need for stable operations.

In this context, IT infrastructure plays a crucial role. When vessels are docked, cranes are operating, and cargo is handled around the clock, data connections, surveillance systems, and operational platforms must function without interruption. Operational reliability is not optional – it is a prerequisite for the business.

Reliable IT infrastructure at one of Denmark’s key ports

The collaboration between ADP and FiberLAN began with a smaller fiber installation in connection with a renovation project. Since then, the partnership has gradually expanded and today includes a wide range of assignments within fiber, data networks, and electrical installations across port areas, Port House, and logistics facilities in the Dry Port.

Among other projects, FiberLAN has established fiber connections in masts at Fredericia Port as part of the major expansion of both the port and Taulov Dry Port. These connections ensure stable data transmission for surveillance, operations, and infrastructure, and have been implemented with a focus on both current needs and future capacity.

One technical partner – fewer interfaces

For ADP, consolidating fiber and electrical tasks with one technical partner has been a clear advantage. In practice, these technical disciplines are closely connected. With FiberLAN, ADP has gained a single point of contact and unified responsibility, without compromising on quality or documentation.

FiberLAN contributes not only with execution, but also with ongoing dialogue and advisory support when solutions need to be assessed, adjusted, or rethought. This provides flexibility in projects and ensures that the solutions align with the operational reality they must support – both today and in the future.

Documentation, quality, and trust in daily operations

In a port environment, both safety and operational reliability are critical. ADP therefore places high demands on documentation, certifications, and work processes among its partners. FiberLAN operates according to fixed, certified processes and delivers structured documentation that makes it easier to operate, expand, and further develop the infrastructure over time.

The collaboration is characterized by dedicated contact persons, mutual understanding, and a trust-based approach where both parties are familiar with each other’s needs and workflows. This creates flexibility in daily operations and makes it easier to handle both planned and urgent tasks efficiently.

A long-term partnership

FiberLAN is proud of the collaboration with ADP and of contributing to the development of one of Denmark’s most important port and logistics areas. The partnership continues today with ongoing projects across locations and disciplines, built on a shared focus on operational reliability, high quality, and long-term value.
